We’re an official HYROX Training Club and we've helped hundreds of athletes either complete their first ever HYROX race to taking 4 x first-timers and helping them qualify for the 2026 HYROX World Championship in Sweden next year.

All our programming is done in-house, and many of our coaches are also HYROX/HYBRiD competitors themselves. We’re not just fitness tourists here.

Training Focus

  • Concept2 Erg technique every week with two Engine classes a week.

  • Strength twice a week to enhance your running and stay injury free.

“I came across Mike at Urban Fitness while searching for HYROX-specific training to prepare for HYROX Sydney in the Open category. After a trail session, Mike suggested I aim higher and enter the Pro category. My first thought was, "There's no way - I'm a full time working mum with a young family. I don't have hours a day to train, let alone do double sessions." But Mike and his team showed me more isn't always better. With his guidance, I committed to the Pro category and surprisingly spent less time in the gym - one HYROX specific class per week.

The real shift came with a focus on running. I started with one run a week and gradually built up to three, I had to learn to trust the process and not every work out needs to leave you gasping for air and that building a solid aerobic base was key.
